Study on parturition of beef cattle in small holder farm: stage, placental weight, and placentomes

Scientific data on the length of parturition stage, placental weight, and number placentomes in Ongole (PO), Simental (SimPO), Limosin (LimPO) breeds Yogyakarta Province are not yet known. This research aimed to study beef catlle small holder farm. was carried out farmers Special Region Province. There were 22 PO, 7 simpo, 4 limpo cattle. The first determined stage parturition. second weight placenta placentomes. Data collected analyzed descriptively. results SimPO, LimPO cattle 73.7, 44.5, 62. 9 hours. duration cattles 58.1, 78.7, 24.5 minutes. third 4.3, 4.8, 3.5 PO SimPO showed that average 4.1 3.6 Kg. dan 92.5, 92.8, 102.6.
